Nigerian Drivers To Take Computer-Based Test Before Getting Licence

The Federal Road Safety Commission has commenced a computer-based test (CBT) for Nigerian applicants from driving schools before the issuance of a driver’s licence.

The FRSC Sector Commander in Delta State, Patrick Okoyeocha, revealed this in a statement on Friday in Asaba.

Okoyeocha noted that the new policy became imperative following the successful transition of the FRSC Driving School Standardisation Programme’s (DSSP) portal from version 1.0 to version 2.0.

According to him, it has become necessary for the commission to enlighten the public on this upgrade, so as to accommodate motorcycles, tricycles and articulated vehicles.
